Pig Trail anyone?

So i have not made a run on pig trail yet and im wanting to. Sadly i work in retail so i get very few weekends off if any but it happens that im taking a little vacation this week (22-25) and was wanting to cruise it. Just wanting to know if anyone else would like to do so with me thinking Saturday (24th) but idk just seeing if anyone else wanted to and if so when they were free to

I am always down for a Pig Trail run, and I'd be down for this weekend, depending on the temperature and if my resets are sorted out.

You should definitely hand out for the photoshoot if we can't all make a trip though.

BTW the Pig Trail is awesome. I've been down three times with the Z31, never done it with the S30 though.

Nope I think most people are mostly open this weekend, unlike last.

Has anyone timed themselves on the Pig Trail? I got from I-40 to Hwy 16 in 25 [or 20, I can't remember] minutes flat.

Hell yea I'm down, I love it. I don't know what car to take though.

It needs to be before, I won't do it at dusk, and it'll be warmer in the morning.

I'll do a little research, last week they were doing repairs to the road and it was one-lane on portions of the road.

If we do this though, my goal will be to break something so don't expect me to stay with you guys. I'll try and make a run down 71 later in the week to see if Flatty's up to it with the PWM mod.

How about Saturday morning? leave at 11, get back and have some lunch, then go take some pictures?

My saturday shift is covered, but I heard the pig trail will be under construction untill June of next year....

Just read a breif article, and it will be under construction due to structural problems for awhile.

there are some intersting backroads from 412 up to gravette and MO ect that our group has never cruised

it would be more relaxed and low speed though...there's even a Crystal Lake like in Friday the 13th to fit the halloween mood

Anyone found out more about that possible construction? If its not too bad, we could go down Old 71 and up the Pig Trail or vise versa.

What car should I bring? SRT or Baracuda?

Tracy, I'd say bring the Cuda. Flat Black is not in 'tip top' shape, so I might not be able to make the high speed runs anyways, and everyone is talking about a 'relaxed cruise.'

I'll probably give them hell through the turns as always but just no 120 MPH straight for now

Whatever. There were a couple places on the upper part that I hit about 130 in the 928 last summer.
